He
unlatched the sliding door and stepped out on the terrace. “What does it look
like I’m doing?” His eyes twinkled with man-lust, the absolute longing as
evident as the mischief.
“We’re
naked.”
“Why are
you whispering?” He laughed, turning his head and adding with a shout, “I’m on
the rooftop with my girl and she’s beautiful and sexy and very, very naked!”
Below
them, the Las Vegas Strip responded with the busy traffic almost mocking them
with an abundance of honking horns and squealing tires.
“Kade!”
She slapped his chest playfully and that’s when his words hit her. It wasn’t
the first that he’d called her out as ‘his’ girl.
“No one
is watching us,” he promised her, the seriousness returning. “No one cares.”
“I do,”
she admitted softly, meaning something entirely different than what he’d
implied.
He inched
closer to the hot tub, studying her face as if he were seeing her for the very
first time. Then, a second later, a veil dropped over his solemn expression and
the light of mischief returned, burning brighter than before.
“Don’t
even think about it,” she said, holding tighter to his neck. “I don’t want to
mess up my hair.”
“That’s
bound to happen either way,” he said gruffly.
“Kade.”
“Princess.”
“Don’t
you—”
Splash! Splash!
He dumped
her over the side and followed right behind her. The hot water and cool night
air were a perfect combination. She came up for air, gasping and laughing.
The large
tub was more like a private plunge pool. She swam to the other side, admiring
Kade as he shook out his watered-down hair before smoothing his hands over his
head and stalking her.
Without
another verbal exchange, he went to her then with apparent goals. He dragged
her away from the wall of jets, pulling her to his lap as he settled against a
corner seat in a private alcove.
Underneath
her bottom, his manhood stretched and she pressed against him. “Kade.” She
faced him, careful not to rush a more intimate connection as she lowered her
mouth to his and took the lead.
After a
minute of kissing, he dropped his head to her breasts and from that moment on,
